We are proud to say we are back and strong, running four years now. We currently have over 125 student athletes in our program, and field teams at each grade level: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. With our continued growth, we hope to have multiple teams at each level in the next couple years. This exciting program is sponsored by Madison West High School and the West YMCA of Dane County. The youth Regents participate in the Dane County Area Youth Football League, which consists of over 150 teams.

These young men will participate in seven games in the fall beginning the Saturday after Labor Day. All student athletes can participate and no cuts are made. Teams are limited to 25 per team and will be split if there are 32 or more signed up. Registration begins in April, so sign up early at the West YMCA; cost is $135 for a YMCA member and $185 for a YMCA non-member. Financial assistance is available through the YMCA.

Practices begin the second week in August and days and times are determined by coaches. Generally, there are three practices a week before school starts, and then two practices per week in the fall when school is in session. Practices are held at West High School and Toki Middle School.

Games are played on Saturdays. Home games are played at West High School. Away games are played at area communities in the Dane County Area Football League.
